Christian joins UtilityCloud from his role as Managing Consultant at Itera, where he has held key positions as a system and information architect in projects focused on the energy sector. Prior to that, he was Chief Architect at eSmart Systems, responsible for the company’s products, cloud services, and data platform. Earlier in his career, Eriksen also worked at Navita (later Brady), where he developed industry-specific solutions for the energy market. A strong focus on product development has been a common thread throughout these roles—something he will bring into his new position as CTO at UtilityCloud.
“I am excited to take on this role at UtilityCloud. The company’s innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology made this an easy choice for me,” says Christian Thun Eriksen.
CEO Torbjørn Hompland is optimistic about the future:
“We are thrilled to have Christian on board. His experience and technological expertise will be key to our continued growth.”
With his extensive experience in the energy sector, Christian is well-positioned to strengthen UtilityCloud’s focus on automating and optimizing energy companies through forward-thinking solutions. He succeeds Erlend Falch Pedersen, who is stepping down as CTO after many years in the role. Falch Pedersen has been a driving force behind the company’s technological progress, and UtilityCloud thanks him for his valuable contributions:
“It has been an incredible journey at UtilityCloud, and I am proud of what we have achieved. I look forward to following the company’s continued growth and have full confidence that Christian will take it to new heights,” says Falch Pedersen.
With our new CTO on board, UtilityCloud is excited to continue its growth and the development of innovative solutions for the energy sector.
