Stockholm/Oslo — Aug 19, 2026 — Greenely, the Swedish energy technology company helping households cut electricity costs and earn money from their connected devices, has selected UtilityCloud as its platform partner across Sweden and Finland. Under the agreement, Greenely will move its billing, customer management and market communication onto UtilityCloud's cloud-native platform, replacing the separate systems it currently runs in each country.
Greenely has built a strong position in Sweden, where it serves tens of thousands of households through its energy management app, helping them lower electricity bills and earn money by optimising the use of EV chargers, batteries and other connected devices. It took its first step outside Sweden in 2025 with its entry into Finland, and has since set its sights on scaling rapidly there and across the Nordics.
Greenely will run all core markets on UtilityCloud, bringing Sweden and Finland onto one platform to reduce costs and simplify operations. In Sweden, where there is no central datahub, UtilityCloud's integration with Embriq will give Greenely higher-quality meter point data than is otherwise available in the market. The platform's APIs also give Greenely the flexibility to build new products and loyalty programmes at pace, and to launch new markets faster. Sweden is set to go live on UtilityCloud first, with Finland to follow along with other potenitial markets in the future.
"Greenely’s ambitions go well beyond Sweden and Finland, and that requires a platform that behaves the same way whether you’re serving your first market or your fifth," said Sara Rasmussen, Chief Revenue Officer at UtilityCloud. "What they needed was a platform reliable and flexible enough to meet their needs, both today and as they grow. We're glad they've put that trust in us, and we're looking forward to helping them scale."
"As we take Greenely into new markets, we needed a partner that could match our pace, and give us one platform to build on instead of a patchwork of systems in every country," said Anders Billving, deputy CEO of Greenely. "UtilityCloud gives us that foundation, and lets our teams focus on what actually moves the needle for our customers: helping households save money and get more value from the energy they use."
The partnership marks another step in UtilityCloud's own expansion in the Nordics and beyond, as the company builds out the multi-market capabilities needed to support energy retailers operating across borders.
